About Meet Fargo
What Meet Fargo is, why we exist, and how to reach the team.
What Meet Fargo is
Meet Fargo is a city magazine about the people, places, and ideas shaping Fargo, Moorhead, and West Fargo. We publish profiles of the makers, chefs, artists, and entrepreneurs reshaping the metro; long-form features on the neighborhoods and institutions that define daily life here; and practical guides — where to eat, what to do this weekend, who to know — that help readers feel at home.
Why we exist
The Red River Valley is one of the most interesting small metros in the country: a college town, a tech hub, an agricultural capital, and a deeply Midwestern community all at once. We started Meet Fargo to give that story room to breathe — to spend more than a paragraph on the people doing remarkable work, and to do it with photography, design, and writing that respect the reader.
How we work
Stories are reported and edited in-house. We talk to people on the record. We fact-check. We disclose conflicts. When we get something wrong, we correct it visibly. The detailed version of how we report, edit, source, and label sponsored work lives on our Editorial Standards page.
