What is the Klaus Roofing System, and why does Vita Roofing install it?
The Klaus Roofing System is a complete roof assembly, not just shingles, but everything underneath that actually determines how long a roof lasts.
It includes premium synthetic underlayment, full ice-and-water shield protection, upgraded flashing, proper intake and exhaust ventilation, and a 50-year warranty backing the whole system.
We chose it because it matches our standard: we won’t install a roof that we wouldn’t put on our own house.
Vita Roofing’s motto is “do it once, do it right.” What does that look like on an actual job?
It means we don’t cut corners that no one would see.
New flashing is installed instead of reused. Synthetic underlayment is used instead of felt. Ice-and-water shield is installed in valleys and around every penetration, not just the eaves. Ventilation is calculated for your attic, not just whatever was there before.
The homeowner won’t see most of it once the shingles go on, but they’ll feel the difference 20 years from now when the roof is still doing its job.
I’ve heard Vita Roofing assigns a project manager to every job. Why does that matter?
Most roofing complaints aren’t about the work; they’re about not knowing what’s happening.
You get one project manager from the first inspection through the final walkthrough. The same person answers your call, schedules the crew, and walks the roof with you when it’s done.
No phone tree. No “let me check with the office.”
If something needs to be made right, you know exactly who to call.
Why pay more for a Klaus roof when a basic shingle replacement costs less upfront?
A budget roof in this area can risk running into wind, ice, or other weather damage in only five years.
A Klaus roof, properly installed and ventilated, is built with a 50-year “No Leak Guarantee” warranty.
Spend once and be done, or spend twice and deal with it again before retirement. That’s the math behind the peace of mind you get with the Klaus Roofing System.
I think I need a new roof. How far ahead should I be planning?
Further than most people think.
Our calendar typically books out four to eight weeks in peak season, and longer after a major storm event. Materials take time to ship, and metal can add another two to three weeks based on demand.
Homeowners who get the smoothest experience call before they have a problem. That gives us room to schedule the installation during ideal weather, source the right product, and manage the project at a normal pace instead of rushing.
If your roof is over 20 years old or you’re seeing granules in the gutters, now is the right time to start the conversation.
