Mezzaluna, an already cherished name for its vibrant and dynamic dining atmosphere, will soon be complemented by another elusive space—The Drawing Room, an exclusive speakeasy-inspired space.
Tucked beneath the cozied corner of Mezzaluna, this hidden spot will offer your evening a blend of classic cocktails, small plates, and unmatched energy.
Owner Taylor Snelling and Owner and Executive Chef Joe Brunner, the visionaries behind this ambitious project, are excited about this dual-experience model—pairing the chic yet relaxed atmosphere of Mezzaluna with the exclusive environment of the Drawing Room.
Originally, the “withdrawing room” of the 16th century was where patrons retreated for private conversations away from the busy main hall. This concept evolved into the “drawing room” by the 17th century, reflecting changes in social customs and designs. The drawing room became a formal space not only for intimate gatherings but also for displaying art, hosting musical performances, and engaging in elevated conversation. Through the 18th and 19th centuries, it became a central feature in homes, symbolizing a blend of luxury and personal retreat.
This historical blend of privacy, sophistication, and culture inspires this new space aptly named. Here, the essence of the drawing room is reimagined—a secluded, elegant space where guests can enjoy refined dining and cocktails, evoking the spirit of those private, plush rooms of the past.
